Overview

Yugambeh culture is a living, evolving knowledge system. This program will support action research in order to share knowledge and strengthen Yugambeh culture.
This program will work in partnership with Yugambeh organisations, including the Elders Council, Youth Group and Women’s Council.
By strengthening Yugambeh culture, this program not only sustains a vital cultural legacy but also enriches the wider Australian community with deep knowledge, wisdom, and ways of being.

Current Projects

Language revival initiatives, including teaching resources and recordings

Cultural workshops on song, story, and ceremony

Community-led projects documenting local histories and heritage
